Now that I am a little less upset, here's some more details. James was fine until I had to get my blood drawn. As soon as he realized I couldn't move he darted out of the room giggling. Luckily for me it was right as the nurse was taking the needle out so I grabbed a cotton ball, snatched the kid and refrained from shaking him. The dr. says I may be pg, it's just not showing up yet. I don't think that's the case but James does. She said the lack of menstruation could be because I gained 7 pounds, I laughingly told her that "no those were the 7 pounds I lost in the move from MS and I just recently found them." she didn't think it was funny but it's the truth. After the blood work comes back she said she will start me on progesterone to bring on a period and ovulation. I am treading into unknown waters. I didn't think it would go this far........ She asked if I had any questions and I said not until the labs come back and I know what I am dealing with. She's a very nice DR, I feel comfotable with her, but not as much as my old OB who would have laughed at my weight joke. I guess she was used to me though, after seeing me for 10 months...... I should know what's going on by Friday or Monday.
