Poor James, he is so mad about not being able to go to his game this weekend. I have come up with a million ways they can go to the rescheduled game on November 19th adn he seems to be cheering up a bit. They won't be able to stay three whole days, but they'll be there all day saturday and half of Sunday. It only take 5 hours to get there so they could leave early evening if they so desired. We are going to The Zoo's Spooktacular on Friday. I keep calling it Boo at The Zoo because that is what Cleveland Metroparks Zoo calls theirs. Originally it was just going to be the younger James and I, but since the elder James will be in town he has agreed to come along. I really hope he doesn't make any stupid comments or ruin our fun. He is notorius for ruing my holiday cheer, just because he lacks it. In all honesty I'd prefer he didn't come with us because I know how he gets. We'll be there all of 20 minutes and he'll be ready to leave....... We also need to buy a pumpkin. The church down the street has a big "patch" so we'll go there. Not the same as picking off the vine, but I haven't done that in years so I may as well get over my childhood memory. Younger James has decided he wants to be a ghost for the school party and T-Rex for karate. We've already got T-Rex so I am going to Joann tomorrow to see what I can find. I couldn't find a pattern and I know it should be simple but I like being prepared. I have an idea in my head of how I will cut it out and it will only cost me $2 to make. NO WONDER so many little kids go as ghosts. Elder James told me to use a bedsheet, but I don't have any solids. He then told me to buy one but I'll spend at least $8 on a flat sheet so it's cheaper my way, and if I mess up I still have $6 to spend, as opposed to none if I mess up the sheet. I know I know it's not that hard, but I am not good at things like this. I finished the treat bags for school and karate, a whole 10 days early, lol. Younger James was a big help. I made an "assembly line" and he did all the filling. I guess I'll vaccum now. I cleaned last night, yeah me! I cleaned! Whenever it's that "time of the month" I get the urge to clean. The other three weeks I am the biggest slob on earth. Really I am!
